The Ninth Amendment of the Constitution of India, officially known as The Constitution (Ninth Amendment) Act, 1960, amended the First Schedule to the Constitution so as to give effect to the transfer of certain territories to Pakistan in pursuance of the Agreements between the Governments of India and Pakistan from 28 December 1960. ==Constitutional changes== The 9th Amendment amended the First Schedule to the Constitution so as to give effect to the transfer of certain territories to Pakistan in pursuance of the Agreements between the Governments of India and Pakistan from the appointed date to be notified by the Central Government to that effect.〔 〕
